Tool Steel Forging

Steel is making a huge impact on day today life of human beings. It is a metal alloy of iron who contains a variety of different elements and makes it world’s strongest and most frequently used materials. It is always used in heat treated condition.
Tool steel forging is a traditional process known for its characteristics being able to cut other metals due to its distinctive hardness.

History
In old age, the ancient men would forge metals to create some weapons for hunting and get food. After a long time, Blacksmith came in front of the world as a magician due to his mastery in iron work. He knew how to alloy iron with carbon to produce some steel equipment. These methodology used in Iron Age. In this modern age, everything has changed. We are using advanced technology for equipment creation.

Uses:
Machinery parts and components
The most important part of tool steel forging is to create parts and components for machinery. Parts and component must be made of a material that is strong enough and has a continuous impact. The elements that are made of this alloy are drill bits, trimmers, end mills, wear plates, mining equipment, tooling blocks etc for machinery.

Building constructions
We are using steel in different ways in the construction of buildings. Nowadays we are using a modern construction in which buildings are framed with steel in place of lumber. Our surrounding is coved with malls, bridges, railways, tunnels, apartments all are comprised of these metallic parts.
It's also used in hammer forging.

Household equipment
Tool steel is used to build in a home appliance such as refrigerators, water heaters, washers, dryers, utensils, dishwashers etc.

Transportation
It is creating an important role in our transport system.  Vehicles to travel on land and vessels to travel the sea are made from these metals like trucks, trains, ships, and even spacecraft for the aerospace industry.
